COLLEGE STATION, Texas- With the home opener just over a week away, Aggie football fans can still take advantage of the special discounted ticket package for the 2008 season.
The special season ticket pack costs $250 and guarantees fans a seat for all seven home games. In its first season under coach Mike Sherman, A&M will welcome Arkansas State, Miami, Army, Texas Tech, Kansas State, Colorado and Oklahoma to Kyle Field this fall.
Last season’s average attendance was 82,207, the second most in school history and a 6,000-per game increase from 2006.
“Our fans give us the best home-field advantage in college football, and the discounted season ticket option is a great way for our fans to experience what I think will be a very exciting fall at Kyle Field,” Director of Athletics Bill Byrne said. “With one of the best home schedules in years, this is a chance to ensure that you have a seat for all seven games. I’m looking forward to another year of outstanding crowds in this great stadium.”
Tickets may be purchased in person at the Athletic Ticket Office in Kyle Field (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.), over the phone by calling 888-99-AGGIE or online anytime at aggieathletics.com. Seats in the discounted ticket pack are located in the upper level of the stadium’s north end.
