
No. 3 Aggies Close Regular Season at New Mexico State

The third-ranked Texas A&M equestrian team will close out its regular season on the road against New Mexico State in Las Cruces on Friday at 9 a.m. (Mountain).
The Aggies (7-3) are coming off a 16-7 defeat of Big 12 rival Oklahoma State last Saturday in College Station. A&M won all four disciplines and walked away with three of the four most valuable rider honors.
New Mexico State (2-5) enters the match ranked No. 10 in the latest coaches poll. The NMSU Aggies dropped 7-3 and 11-7 decisions to SMU and TCU last weekend in Dallas.
A&M holds an all-time record of 2-0 against New Mexico State. The Texas Aggies earned an 11-9 win over the NMSU Aggies in their last meeting on Oct. 12, 2007, in College Station. A&M won the first-ever meeting, 12-4, on Feb. 17-18, 2007, in Fresno, Calif.
Friday's match will be held at the NMSU Equestrian Center on the New Mexico State campus.
