DETROIT, Mich. - Texas A&M's Josh Carter has been selected to play in the Hershey's College All-Star game as part of Final Four Friday at Ford Field. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:35 p.m. (CT). All players in the game are seniors.
The game will be televised by CBS College Sports.
Carter will be a member of the Hershey's All-Stars, which will be coached by former Arkansas coach Nolan Richardson and current Missouri coach Mike Anderson. The Reese's All-Stars will be coached by Illinois' Bruce Weber and Purdue's Matt Painter.
An All-Big 12 selection, Carter is the winningest player in school history and is the first Aggie to play in four NCAA Tournaments. He is the only player in school history to score at least 1,500 career points with 500 rebounds and 200 assists. Carter's 299 career three-pointers are a school record and rank fourth in Big 12 history.
This is the second straight year A&M has been represented in the all-star game. Joseph Jones played in the game last year in San Antonio.
