
Sloan Leads Texas A&M Past Northwestern St., 89-63

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Donald Sloan scored 18 points to lead Texas A&M to an 89-63 win over Northwestern State on Saturday.
In the Aggies' first game since Derrick Roland broke his leg, Khris Middleton scored 8 points on 2 of 8 shooting. Roland was hurt in A&M's 73-64 loss at Washington Dec. 22.
Damon Jones and Charles Clark led the Demons (5-7) with 12 points each.
The Aggies (10-3) got out to a 13-0 lead and never were threatened. Texas A&M's David Loubeau scored nine points in the decisive first half and finished with 12.
