COLLEGE STATION--The national champion Texas A&M equestrian team wrapped up its first-ever summer clinic over the weekend at the Brazos County Expo Complex.
The clinic was a big success, with nearly 40 riders from around the country participating in the three-day instructional event.
"We were very pleased with our first clinic," head coach Tana McKay said. "All the participants did a great job and were very enthusiastic about their experience here. We are looking forward to having more clinics in the future."
The Aggies open the fall season on Saturday, Sept. 22 at South Dakota State, while the home opener is scheduled for Oct. 26 against SMU.
