SEC Women's Tennis Tournament Bracket
Apr 14, 2013 | Women's Tennis
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Southeastern Conference champion Texas A&M drew a No. 2 seed at the 2013 SEC Women's Tennis Tournament, to be held April 17-21 at Mississippi State's A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre in Starkville, Miss. The Aggies will open tournament play Friday at 2 p.m. against the winner between No. 7 seed Auburn and No. 10 seed Arkansas.
Georgia is the No. 1 seed, determined by a drawing involving the Bulldogs, A&M and Florida, who all finished in a three-way tie for first with identical 12-1 records. The drawing served as the tiebreaker between the three teams, because Texas A&M defeated Florida, the Gators defeated Georgia, and Georgia handed A&M its only loss.
Should A&M advance, the Aggies' semifinal match is slated for Saturday at 2 p.m. The championship match will be played Sunday at 1 p.m.
