
Texas A&M Golfers Card Win over Princeton

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The Texas A&M men's golf team opened its 2014-15 season on Sunday, earning a dual victory over Princeton at Baltusrol Golf Club's Lower Course.
The Aggies turned in a nine-over par round of 289 while the Tigers completed the day with a team score of 322 (+42).
Leading the way for Texas A&M was a trio of golfers at two-over par as sophomores Adrià Arnaus and Ben Crancer along with freshman Cameron Champ each carded rounds of 72.
Meanwhile, rookie Andrew Paysse was three-over par (73) with juniors Andrew Lister and Connor Black rounding out the A&M contingency with scorecards of 74 and 76, respectively.
Princeton's top finisher was Jason Chen with a three-over par round of 73.
The Texas A&M men's golf team will see its next action at the Fighting Illini Invitational in Olympia Fields, Ill., Sept 12-14.
