The Aggies have played LSU four times in SEC play, and hold a 3-1 advantage in those games. A&M and LSU are scheduled to play twice each season under the current SEC scheduling format, the Aggies return to Baton Rouge on Mar. 1.
A&M and LSU played a pair of classic games in 2013-14. On Jan. 9 in Baton Rouge, Courtney Walker broke a 45-45 tie with 40.1 to play by draining an 18-foot jumper, which put the Aggies ahead for good as they would win 52-48.
Walker would again help dash the dreams of the Lady Tigers on Feb. 9 at Reed Arena, putting back a layup with 54 seconds left, extending the lead after LSU had closed the Aggie lead to a single point. The Aggies would win that game 72-67 to sweep the season series with LSU.
After this game, the Aggies remain home to host Ole Miss in Reed Arena on Sunday, January 18 at 4 p.m. on SEC Network.
