IOWA CITY, Iowa --- Texas A&M junior swimmer Cory Bolleter (San Antonio, Texas) tied for 12th in the 50-yard freestyle at the 2015 NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships on Thursday at the University of Iowa.
Bolleter, from Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas, touched the wall in a quick 19.44 to tie for fourth in the consolation final (t12th overall) of the 50 free with Utah's Nick Soedel. In the morning prelims, Bolleter finished in a three-way tie for the 16th and final qualifying spot in 19.39 and then earned spot in the consols with a swim-off victory in 19.41.
In other Texas A&M action, freshman diver Tyler Henschel posted a score of 313.45 in the one-meter dive prelims (33rd overall) and did not advance to the finals.
