“Obviously, we're disappointed that we are not in the NCAA Tournament but our guys practiced well yesterday and are excited about being in the NIT,” Texas A&M head coach Billy Kennedy said. “We're playing a very good Montana team that was 14-4 in their league and is a very experienced, veteran team.”
Tickets for Tuesday's contest are on sale through the 12th Man Foundation by logging on to 12thmanfoundation.com or calling (979) 845-2311. Prices are set for $15 for reserved seats, $10 for general admission and $4 for students.
The NIT trip is the seventh in program history and the first since 2005 when the Aggies advanced to the tournament's third round and parlayed that success into trips to the NCAA Tournament each of the next six seasons.
