
No. 14 Women's Golf Finishes Fifth In Arizona

The No. 14 Texas A&M women's golf team shot an even-par 288 on the final day to finish fifth at the Wildcat Invitational at the Sewailo Golf Club with an 873 (+9) for the two day, three round tournament.
Freshman Maddie Szeryk led the Aggies by tying for fifth as an individual, shooting a 210 (-6) for the tournament and 68 (-4) on the final day. Bianca Fabrizio also turned in an under-par scorecard on Tuesday, shooting 71 (-1), bringing her 54-hole total to 224 (+8), tying for 30th with teammate Thanya Pattamakijsakul 223 (+8), who shot 80 (+8) on the 6,386 yard / par 72 course on Tuesday.
Andrea Jonama shot a 74 (+2) on Tuesday to bring her three round score to 226 (+10), and finished in a tie for 45th. Callie Scheffler shot a 75 (+3) in the last round to score 232 (+16) for the tournament, tying for 63rd. Kirby Kramer, competing as an individual, shot a 259 (+43) for the tournament, finishing in 88th place.
Southern Cal won the tournament with an 834 (-30) over 54 holes. Karen Chung of Southern Cal won medalist honors with a 205 (-11).
The Aggies' next tournament is April 3-5 in Oxford, Miss. for the Rebel Intercollegiate.
