Aggie Signee Tyler Davis to Play in Jordan Brand Classic

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M men's basketball signee Tyler Davis will take the court at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., Friday night at 7 p.m. (CT) as part of the 14th Annual Jordan Brand Classic. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
Davis will compete for the white team in the all-star contest, which showcases the top prep boys and girls basketball players from across the country.

A 6-foot-10 center who's regarded as a five-star prospect as well as the top-ranked player in Texas according to ESPN, Davis is coming off an impressive senior season during which he averaged over 18 points and 12 rebounds per game en route to helping Plano West High School win the Texas Class 6A State Championship.
Along with PWHS teammate D.J. Hogg, Davis joins Admon Gilder (Dallas, Texas / Madison HS) and Elijah Thomas (Lancaster, Texas / Lancaster HS) to form Texas A&M's incoming 2015 signing class which is ranked third nationally by ESPN and Scout.com.
All four players are highly-regarded as members of ESPN's Top 100 for the class of 2015 and Gilder was recently named Gatorade's Texas Player of the Year.
