Jul 09, 2015 | Softball
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Several spots are still available for the Texas A&M softball team's summer softball skills camps on August 29. Admission is granted on a first-come, first-serve basis and those wishing to attend either the hitting or pitching clinic should apply now.
The camp is for players ages 10-18, and includes a hitting session from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and a pitching session from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Campers will receive small-group instruction from some of the best hitting and pitching talents in the country, including head coach Jo Evans, associate head coach Gerry Glasco, volunteer pitching coach Rhi Kliesing, and several former and current Aggie players.
Hitters should bring a bat, batting gloves, a batting helmet, cleats and tennis shoes. Pitchers will need a glove, and cleats and tennis shoes, but do not need to bring their own catcher.
Each session costs $125 per camper. To register, go online to www.12thMan.com/camps and follow the link labeled 'Register' in the Softball section.
