COLLEGE STATION, Texas –The Texas A&M Men's Tennis team will be represented in both the singles and doubles final in Ft. Worth at the 2016 ITA Texas Regional Championships Sunday, hosted by TCU at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

Singles and doubles championships are scheduled to be played Monday, with the winners advancing to face other regional winners across the country at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, Nov. 3-6, in Flushing, N.Y.

In doubles action, No. 20 Max Lunkin and Arthur Rinderknech will take on No. 41 Trevor Johnson and Reese Stadler of TCU, Monday. The Maroon & White duo advanced to the final with a 3-6, 6-3, 10-4 victory over No. 29 Alexander Sendegeya and Bjorn Thomson of Texas Tech. Johnson and Stadler advanced after topping Texas A&M's Aleksandre Bakshi and Hady Habib, 7-5, 3-6, 10-4.

In the singles bracket, No. 9 Rinderknech topped No. 83 Sendegeya 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 in the quarterfinals before disposing of No. 56 Guillermo Nunez, 6-2, 6-2, of TCU. The Paris, France native will face No. 95 Jolan Cailleau of Texas Tech at 9:30 a.m.

Rinderknech advanced to the finals in both the singles and doubles bracket for the second straight year. Last season, Rinderknech claimed the Texas Regional over Hunter Johnson of SMU, winning all six of his matches in straight sets. The right-hander played alongside former teammate Shane Vinsant in the doubles bracket, falling to the third-ranked team in the country.
