Texas A&M’s Hall invited to 2017 Senior Bowl

MOBILE, Ala. — Texas A&M senior Daeshon Hall been invited to participate in the 2017 Reese's Senior Bowl, the Senior Bowl committee announced on Monday.
The senior was instrumental in the Aggies' 8-4 overall record, which yielded three victories over Associated Press Top 25 teams and the school's eighth-straight bowl game invitation.
Hall, a defensive end from Seattle, Wash., finished the season with 10.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. The defensive standout has started 25 consecutive games in the Maroon & White, compiling 34 tackles behind the line of scrimmage and 15 quarterback take downs. Hall earned SEC Defensive Lineman of the week honors after a disruptive performance at South Carolina the first weekend in October, posting six total tackles, including two sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss, while also pressuring the USC quarterback twice. It was the second SEC DL of the Week honor of Hall's career.
Hall joins Texas A&M teammates Justin Evans and Josh Reynolds among the 2017 Senior Bowl participants.
