No. 23 Women's Golf Starts NCAA Bryan Regional On Thursday

No. 23 Texas A&M hosts the 2016 NCAA Bryan Regional at Traditions Club, on May 5-7, with the top six teams in the 18-team field earn a berth in the 2016 NCAA Women's Golf Championship.
A&M enters the Regional on its home course, a Jack Nickalus-designed par 72 / 6,373 yard course as the sixth seed. A&M ranks 19th in the nation in scoring average entering the tournament. Admission and parking to the event is free.
The Aggies are coming off of a fourth place finish at the 2016 SEC Championship, the only school who has finished in the top four of the SEC in two consecutive years.
First Team All-SEC selection Maddie Szeryk leads the Aggies with a 72.27 stroke average, which ranks fourth relative to par in the SEC. She is joined in the A&M lineup by Thanya Pattamakijsakul, Bianca Fabrizio, Andrea Jonama and Callie Scheffler.
The Aggies tee off of the No. 1 hole at 9 a.m. on Thursday.
