SETTING THE SCENE
After logging a 55-14 win over New Mexico last week, Texas A&M (6-4, 3-3) returns to SEC play for a 6 p.m. clash with the Ole Miss Rebels (5-5, 2-4) on Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
A win would guarantee the Aggies of a winning record for an eighth straight season, which would rank as the third-longest streak in school history and the longest in over two decades (16 from 1914-29, 12 from 1984-95). A&M is seeking its third straight win away from Kyle Field since falling to UCLA in the season-opener. In the Sumlin era, the Aggies are 23-11 away from their home field for a 67.6 winning percentage, which ranks No. 2 among SEC teams since 2012.
