COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP)-- Robert Williams scored 18 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, Admon Gilder scored 22 points and Texas A&M defeated Missouri 76-73 on Wednesday night.

The game was tied 65-65 with five minutes remaining when D.J. Hogg banked a shot high off the glass from about four feet, giving the Aggies a 67-65 lead. J.C. Hampton then stole the ball on the other end of the floor following an errant inbound pass and threw a perfect pass to a cutting Williams for the dunk and a 69-65 A&M lead with 4:19 remaining.

Minutes later Hogg, who's struggled of late offensively, drilled a 3-pointer from the left corner to give A&M a 72-67 advantage with 3:10 remaining. Williams then added to his impressive night with a slam dunk in between defenders to make it 74-67 with 2:34 left.

Tonny Trocha-Morelos added 16 points for A&M (13-10, 5-6 Southeastern Conference).

Jordan Barnett, a transfer from Texas, led the Tigers (6-17, 1-10) with a game-high 23 points.

Texas A&M won its fourth SEC game in its last five league contests Wednesday night at Reed Arena by defeating Missouri 76-73.
The win, A&M's fifth straight over Missouri, tied the all-time series between the schools at 16-16.

TEAM NOTES

Texas A&M owned the rebounding advantage throughout the night, finishing with 12 more boards than Missouri (40-to-28) including 11 offensive rebounds which led to 16 second-chance points.
The Aggies accumulated 22 assists on 29 made baskets … The 22 dimes were the second most by Texas A&M in a game this season (24 vs LSU, 1/11)
The Maroon & White swatted eight Missouri shot attempts … The Aggies entered the night 12^thin the country in block percentage according to kenpom.com.
A&M used the starting lineup combination of Admon Gilder, JC Hampton, Tonny Trocha-Morelos, Robert Williams and Tyler Davis for the second time this season (2-0).

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

Freshman Robert Williams logged a career high in both points (18) and rebounds (16) against the Tigers … Additionally, the Vivian, La., native collected a trio of blocks to extend his blocked shot streak to a Texas A&M record 23 games … Williams' 57 blocks this season ranks eighth on the Texas A&M single-season list … The double-double was the sixth for Williams this season.
Sophomore Admon Gilder played all 40 minutes for the sixth straight game, scoring 20 points for the fourth time in his last five games … The Dallas native had not eclipsed the 20 point mark in his previous 55 career games … The second-year player finished with 22 points, making a career-high six three-pointers on 10 attempts from beyond the arc.
Sophomore Tyler Davis scored in doubles figures for the 38^th time in his career, finishing with 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting from the floor.
Junior Tonny Trocha-Morelos set a career high with 16 points … the Colombian was 7-for-12 from the floor in 23 minutes of action.
Graduate transfer JC Hampton logged five assists on the night, the most he has converted for the Maroon & White.
Texas A&M head coach Billy Kennedy improved to 112-80 in his sixth season at Texas A&M and 323-259 in 19 seasons as head coach.
