Massey Named to SEC Community Service Team

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Texas A&M softball senior Celena Massey was named to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team, the league office announced Wednesday.
Massey has volunteered at the Bryan, Texas Animal Shelter walking dogs and cleaning kennels for both dogs and cats. In addition to feeding animals at the shelter, the Bulverde, Texas, native cleaned their water and food bowls, washed towels and blankets and donated $115 worth of food for the animals.
Massey has also participated in Aggies Can, collecting donations and food cans for the Brazos Valley Food Drive.
The SEC sponsors Community Service Teams for all 21 league sponsored sports. The Community Service Team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.
