HANGZHOU, China --- Former Texas A&M All-American and Southeastern Conference Champion swimmer Lisa Bratton has won gold in the 200-meter backstroke at the 2018 FINA World Swimming Championships.
Bratton, a 2018 senior from Richland, Wash., chased down fellow USA teammate Kathleen Baker and edged her at the wall with a winning time of 2:00.71. Baker, a former All-American from Cal, grabbed the silver medal in 2.00.79.
