Texas A&M’s Kalonji punches ticket to NCAA Championships

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Texas A&M junior diver Alaïs Kalonji punched her ticket to the 2018 NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships with a third-place finish in the platform dive at the NCAA Zone D Qualifier on Wednesday at the University of Minnesota.
Kalonji, the 2018 Southeastern Conference Champion in the platform dive, placed third at Zones with a 10-dive point total of 568.60. She becomes the 17th member of the 2017-18 Texas A&M women's team to earn a spot at the NCAA Championships, which will be contested March 14-17 at Ohio State University.
