COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M volleyball returns to Reed Arena on Sunday afternoon when the Aggies (13-5, 5-3) take on the Georgia Bulldogs (15-4, 7-1). First serve is set for 2 p.m. with Casey Richardson and Chelsea Reber on the call for SEC Network+. Streaming services are also available on the ESPN app.
Texas A&M comes into Sunday's match after an impressive pair of road victories at Mississippi State and Ole Miss. The Aggies also climbed to No. 17 in the NCAA RPI, which ranks teams based on their strength of schedule.
The Aggies' victory over Ole Miss on Sunday snapped the Rebels' 14-match win streak, while handing Ole Miss its first loss in conference play. An incredible set of individual performances guided the Aggies to their first five-set road victory of the season.
Hollann Hans recorded her 30th career double-double, logging 10 digs and tying her career-high in kills with 32.
Camille Conner dished out 52 assists in the match, while also sending down seven kills and recording nine digs. Her offensive leadership brought her assist total on the season to a remarkable 708.
Defensively, the Aggies were led by Camila Gomez and Taylor Voss, who both recorded double figures in digs. Makena Patterson and Mallory Talbert both logged five blocks apiece.
Georgia is led by junior outside hitter Rachel Ritchie, freshman outside hitter Kacie Evans and senior setter Meghan Donovan. Ritchie leads the Bulldogs in kills with 227 and kills per set with an average of 3.29. Evans, a three-time SEC Freshman of the Week, leads the team in points with a total of 245.0 and Donovan leads the visiting Bulldogs with 836 assists.
The Bulldogs come into Sunday's match with a 15-4 overall record, winning their last six matches to improve to 7-1 in SEC play.
Texas A&M volleyball is 17-3 all-time against Georgia, going 7-1 in College Station. The Aggies have never lost to the Bulldogs in SEC conference action, with Texas A&M going a perfect 10-0.
