WHAT THEY SAID
Head Coach Jo Evans
On the SEC teams making them pay for errors…
"What's happening for us is we make a mistake, compound that and make another mistake, and then we have two or three walks. If you look at the first inning, we made a couple errors in that first inning and then we've got a couple walks. There you go its four runs instead of only one earned run. You can manage with one earned run. We can bounce back with playing small ball, moving runners and it's a different story. However, we compounded our mistakes today and put ourselves in a hole."
On Dani Elder's performance lately…
"Dani has been swinging the bat with confidence. She hit the long ball last night and got up today to get a double of the wall. She's feeling good about herself which I'm pleased to see."
