Texas A&M’s Marson and Storch Win to Wrap Up Sherwood Cup

LOS ANGELES – Guido Marson and Stefan Storch of the Texas A&M men's tennis team bested opponents from No. 3 USC at the 2020 Sherwood Collegiate Cup presented by the Sherwood Country Club Saturday. The No. 9 Aggies were joined at the tournament by student-athletes from USC, No. 11 UCLA and No. 12 Stanford.
Marson, an A&M sophomore from Pordenone, Italy, topped No. 64 Ryder Jackson of USC to advance to the finals. On the bottom half of the bracket, Storch, a freshman from Melbourne, Australia, defeated Bradley Frye of USC to set up an All-Aggie final. Due to travel, the consolation final will not be contested between the Maroon & White duo.
