SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Texas A&M men's swimming team topped Incarnate Word, 168-126, Friday afternoon at the Ann Barshop Natatorium. The Aggies claimed 10 of the 16 events on the day.
Thomas Shomper shined in the unusual event schedule, competing in six events on the day, clocking the fastest time in two of them. Jace Brown, Alex Sanchez, Jerard Jacinto and Munzy Kabbara also added first-place finishes for the Aggies as most swimmers competed in back-to-back events throughout the meet.
Luke Stuart, Mark Schnippenkoetter and Trey Dickey teamed up to add a pair of victories in the distance relay events.
The Aggies return to action in January when they head to Florida to take on the Seminoles and Gators during the first week of the new year.
