
Middleton, Team USA Win Gold

Former Texas A&M men's basketball standout Khris Middleton and Team USA won gold after defeating France, 87-82. In the championship game, Middleton recorded four points, one rebound and one assist in 10 minutes of play.

Middleton is the second Aggie men's basketball alum to win a gold medal, joining DeAndre Jordan, who won gold in 2016.
He became one of six players since NBA players were allowed to play in the summer games in 1992 to win an NBA Championship and an Olympic gold medal in the same year.
Middleton finished the Olympics with a combined stat line of 35 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and five steals.
