TEXAS A&M QUOTES
Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle
On tonight's performance…
"We asked a lot of Joseph Menefee. He's been great two times in a row, and he will be great again. Maybe wasn't quite as sharp, but you got to give credit to them. I thought there were some really good things that happened in the game. Obviously, Chris Cortez did an outstanding job. He started to get his breaking ball going a little bit. Ryan has a great future in this program. Chris has an awesome future in this program. We certainly need them to win this year. We are going to need to make a few adjustments to give them a better chance at having success."
Sophomore first baseman Jack Moss
On moving on from the loss…
"It is just baseball. You are not always going to have everything go your way. We have been doing a great job offensively these past few weeks and we have really started to click. We are going to continue to click and do things really well."
Freshman pitcher Chris Cortez
On what was working for him…
"Executing the slider. In the past people would just sit fastball because I did not really have anything. So executing the slider helped me make the batter second guess themselves."
