BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M volleyball team closes its week hosting No. 24 Auburn at Reed Arena Sunday afternoon with first serve set for 3:00 p.m.
The Aggies snapped a three-game losing streak with a sweep over Alabama in Reed Arena on Friday night. The Maroon & White dominated in all three sets of the match, winning the first by five (25-20), the second by 10 (25-15) and the third by seven (25-18). The 3-0 victory was also A&M's tenth sweep of the season.
Auburn enters the match on a three-match win streak, after most recently downing Alabama on the road in Tuscaloosa (3-1). The Tigers sit just ahead of the Maroon & White in the conference standings with a record of 7-4 in league matches, ranking them fourth.
A&M boasts a dominant record all-time versus Auburn (14-4), this also rings true since the Aggies joined the SEC, as they lead 12-4 in league play. The Tigers have had the better of the matchup over the past two seasons, as they have won three matches to A&M's one.
The Aggie block was an on full show versus the Crimson Tide, as they logged 11 team blocks on the night which was over double their opponents (5).
Ava Underwood was all over the court versus Alabama, as she recorded a season high 17 digs in the match, while also adding four assists.
Logan Lednicky led the Maroon & White offensively with 11 kills, her 16th time surpassing 10 kills this season and ninth during league play.

- Located at the north entry of Reed Arena, the Kid Zone includes a rotation of face painting, balloon animals, inflatables and more! The Kid Zone opens one hour prior to the match and closes at first serve.
