
No. 11 Aggies Roll To Victory at LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. - The No. 11 Texas A&M women's swimming & diving team was again victorious, defeating SEC rival LSU 171-126 Saturday afternoon, picking up their ninth dual meet win of the season.
The Aggies began the day with a win in the 200 medley relay. The team of Miranda Grana, Bobbi Kennett, Olivia Theall and Chloe Stepanek finished with a time of 1:39.90.
Grana picked up a pair of top times in the meet with a 55.01 in the 100 back and a 1:57.80 in the 200 back.
Stepanek also had a successful day at the pool, adding a win in the 200 free (1:47.69) and a pair of second-place finishes in the 50 free (23.11) and the 100 fly (55.79).
Theall tallied two more top times on the day, clocking a 53.51 in the 100 fly and a 1:58.96 in the 200 fly.
Rachel Love delivered in the distance events, touching the wall first in the 500 free (4:53.21) and finished second in the 1000 free (9:56.34), following teammate Abby Grottle who clocked in at 9:55.79.
Giulia Goerigk notched a pair of top finishes, clocking a 2:16.53 in the 200 breast and a 2:03.44 in the 200 IM.
Joslyn Oakley finished in second place on both springboards with scores of 292.95 on the 1-meter and 320.33 on the 3-meter.
UP NEXT:
The Aggies return home for a dual meet against SMU Feb. 2. The meet will begin at 5 p.m. at the Rec Center Natatorium.
