Aggies Host Baylor to Open Spring Slate

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M volleyball team opens its spring slate hosting Baylor in an exhibition match Friday in Reed Arena with first serve set for 6:30 p.m.
Texas A&M wrapped its 2023 campaign with a 16-13 record and secured its first trip to the NCAA Tournament since the 2019 season. The Aggies claimed a plethora of wins versus NCAA Tournament teams throughout the year, highlighted by an upset win over then-No. 4 Florida, 3-2.
The Maroon & White return nine letterwinners from the 2023 campaign, including a pair of All-South Region Team selections in Logan Lednicky and Ifenna Cos-Okpalla. A&M also added a pair of January transfers in Maddie Waak, a setter from LSU, and Emily Hellmuth, an outside hitter from Pepperdine.
Baylor finished their 2023 season with a 17-13 record and reached the NCAA Tournament second round.
Admission to the event is free of charge, with parking available around Reed Arena for $5. Fans are encouraged to enter the arena at the main entrance, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. There will be no concessions available throughout the match.
