The Tigers cut the deficit in half in the second courtesy of a Cooper McMurray solo homer.

After Auburn cut the deficit to one, 5-4, with three runs in the top half of the sixth, the Aggies responded with a four-spot in the bottom half of the frame to stretch the advantage to 10-4. Caden Sorrell delivered the big hit as the freshman went opposite field for a three-run homer to left. RBI singles from Grahovac and Burton accounted for the last two runs of the frame.
A pair of solo homers from Camarillo and Montgomery accounted for the final runs of the night for the Aggies. The multi-homer game marked the second of Montgomery's Aggie career.
