Robbins Named to SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M women tennis' Elise Robbins was named to the SEC Community Service Team, the league announced Thursday.
Robbins has been a consistent contributor not only in the Bryan-College Station community, but also on the international stage. Robbins has tallied 18 hours of community service in the last year, while being an example for her fellow teammates on spreading the importance of service.
The senior most recently dedicated a great deal to time, joining the Texas A&M Athletics' Mission of Hope trip, where she and fellow student-athletes travelled to the Dominican Republic. The trip involved two core components, strategic ministry time and community advancement projects.
Robbins also played a key role in the largest student-athlete volunteer run canned food drive in the nation, Aggies Can. The collections are used to give back to the Brazos Valley.
