Oct 10, 2025 | Soccer
BATON ROUGE – The Texas A&M soccer team was on the losing end of a 4-1 decision against the Tigers Friday evening at LSU Soccer Stadium.
LSU (8-5-2, 3-2-2 SEC) claimed the lead at the midway point of the first half, converting a corner kick. The Tigers added two counterattack goals, before Trinity Buchanan put the Aggies on the scoreboard with her fifth goal of the season with an assist from Savannah Hutchins.
The shot advantage was narrow for LSU (15-13), but the Bayou Bengals owned a widened gap in shots-on-goal (7-3) and corner kicks (6-3).
In a rough-and-tumble affair, LSU outfouled the Aggies, 12-7, but the cards never left the pocket.
With Leah Diaz and Mia Scranton suffering first half injuries, Texas A&M (4-6-4, 1-5-1 SEC) had to dig deep into the reserves.
