Pires, Frusina to Face Off for NCAA Qualifying Spot

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Texas A&M's Tiago Pires and Alex Frusina will compete against each other in the singles quarterfinals playoffs to earn a spot at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships at the ITA Central Sectionals.
After falling short in both of their quarterfinals matches, Pires and Frusina moved to the quarterfinal playoffs. The pair will compete against each other, with the winner earning a spot in the NCAA Championships singles draw in Orlando from November 18-23.
The quarterfinal playoff match will take place at 8 a.m. Sunday. Fans can follow along through Michigan's live stats and live video.

Sebastian Dominko (ND) def. Tiago Pires (TAMU) 6-2, 6-3
Jack Anthrop (OSU) def. Alex Frusina (TAMU) 6-0, 6-2
