
McMillan Adds Veteran Guard Miles to 2025-26 Roster

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M men's basketball coach Bucky McMillan continued to shape the Aggies' 2025-26 roster with the addition of veteran guard Duke Miles on Wednesday.
Miles, from Montgomery, Alabama, has scored over 1,300 points and dished out more than 300 assists in five collegiate seasons – three at Troy, one at High Point and most recently at Oklahoma.
As a 34-game starter for Oklahoma in 2024-25, Miles was one of five players in the SEC to connect on better than 50.0% of his field goal attempts, 40.0% of his 3-point attempts and 80.0% of his free throws as he scored 320 points for the NCAA Tournament-bound Sooners.
Miles ranked in the top three on the team in points, minutes (838), steals (48), assists (69), free throws made and attempted (64-of-77), field goal percentage (.514) and 3-point FG % (.430). He reached double-digit points in 15 games, including a season high of 29 vs. Central Arkansas (12/22/2024). He posted season highs of five steals at No. 10 Missouri (2/12/2025) and Alcorn State (12/7/2014)); six assists vs. Linden; and seven rebounds at Arkansas (1/25/2025). He connected on a season-high four 3-pointers twice vs. Linden and Central Arkansas.
For his 116-game career, Miles has scored 1,348 points, dished out 338 assists, grabbed 290 rebounds and made 180 steals, which making 49.5 of his field goal attempts. He posted his career high in scoring of 32 points against Hofstra while at High Point (11/22/2023). He tallied his best statistical season at High Point in 2023-24 when scored 577 points and dished out 118 assists to earn first-team All-Big South honors and Newcomer of the Year honors, as well as NABC All-District accolades.
