BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M men's basketball coach Bucky McMillan continued to build the Aggies' 2025-26 roster with the addition of former USC and Bowling Green standout Rashaun Agee on Thursday.
The 6-foot-7 Agee shined for the Trojans in 2024-25 and has also made stops at Bowling Green, Casper College (Wyo.) and New Mexico State. The Chicago native began his college career in 2019 and will require a waiver from the NCAA to play his final season with the Aggies.
In 98 Division I games, Agee has piled up 20 double-doubles while scoring 1,058 points and grabbing 650 rebounds. He has nine games with more than 20 points, including a career high of 29 points against Oregon last season. Agee has 22 games with double-digit rebounds, including seven outings with at least 14 boards. He pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds vs. Central Michigan in the 2024 MAC Tournament.
Last season at USC, Agee played in 34 of 35 games with 10 starts while averaging 9.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest. He was the team leader in offensive rebounds (53) and blocks (26) and ranked in the top five in points (320), rebounds (152), assists (35) and steals (24).
While logging his scoring career high of 29 points vs. the Ducks last season, he also pulled down 14 rebounds, including six offensive boards, blocked six shots and made three steals. Other notable games at USC include a 48-minute effort with 23 points and 11 rebounds in Trojans' double overtime win over Rutgers in the Big Ten Tournament and scoring 22 points while playing all 40 minutes against Villanova in the 2025 College Basketball Crown.
Before his time in Los Angeles, Agee played two seasons at Bowling Green and earned second-team All-MAC honors in 2023-24 after averaging 13.3 points and 9.9 rebounds. In that season, he totaled 327 rebounds and ranked No. 10 nationally with 3.8 offensive rebounds per game. His 17 double-doubles were No. 2 in the MAC and No. 12 nationally. Teaming with fellow Aggie commitment Marcus Hill, Agee led the Falcons to 20 wins and a spot in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.
He spent the 2021-22 season at Casper College where he averaged a double-double of 20.0 points and 11.5 rebounds while earning all-conference and all-region honors.
