
McMillan Announces Sinon as Assistant Director of Operations

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M men's basketball coach Bucky McMillan announced Shane Sinon as the Aggies' assistant director of operations on Monday.
Sinon was a graduate assistant with the Aggies in 2024-25 where he handled all manner of tasks relating to head coach's daily schedule and calendar, including film projects, practice and travel preparation and team inventory.
A native of Poughkeepsie, New York, Sinon came to Texas A&M from Oral Roberts University where he led player development workouts, assisted with film, recruiting, analytics and opponent scouting reports for the Golden Eagles basketball program from 2023-24.
He earned a bachelor's degree in health and physical education from Liberty University in 2022. While at Liberty, Sinon was a manager for the Flames basketball team all four years and was the head manager as a junior and senior. Sinon also served as the head boys basketball coach at Amherst (Va.) Middle School and taught physical education at the elementary school from 2022-23.
