Six Aggies Earn ITA Preseason Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Texas A&M men's tennis team was represented by six Aggies on the preseason edition of the 2025-26 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) national rankings.
The 2025 All-America doubles tandem of Togan Tokac and Theo Papamalamis led the pack with a No. 6 ITA ranking. The pair finished the season as the No. 4 duo in the country with a 10-4 record at the No. 1 line. Together the duo picked up seven ranked victories and ended the season on a four-match winning streak.
Other ranked Aggie duos include junior Filip Pieczonka and incoming Auburn transfer Alex Frusina at No. 10 and incoming Oklahoma transfer Kholo Montsi and junior Tiago Pires at No. 57.
Papamalamis earned a top 20 singles ranking, checking in at No. 14 in the preseason ranking. In his debut collegiate season, the Frenchman tallied a 15-9 record at the No. 1 line, including five ranked wins. He garnered multiple accolades, including SEC Freshman of the Week, All-SEC Freshman team and All-SEC First team.
Four other Aggies earned singles rankings, including Frusina (No. 34), Pieczonka (No. 75) Montsi (No. 110) and Pires (No. 122).
