
Kuvaas Finishes Fifth at Minnesota Golf Classic

MAPLE PLAIN, Minn. – The Texas A&M men's golf standout Kris Kuvaas made his Aggie debut with a fifth-place showing at the Minnesota Golf Classic at Pioneer Creek Golf Course.
Kuvaas registered a three-round tally of 4-under 212 at the par-72, 6,953-yard loop. He carded five birdies in each of his first two rounds, registering scores of 2-under 70 and 3-under 69. The Pepperdine transfer finished up with an even 72 in the final round. He finished five strokes behind tournament champion Jeffrey Zatorski of Rutgers.
Two other Aggies participated in the tournament. Jake Maggert finished in 28th place at 6-over 222 and Alex Long checked in at 33rd with 7-over 223.
