RALEIGH, N.C. – The Texas A&M men's tennis team secured its spot in the ITA Kickoff Weekend championship match after a 4-1 victory over the Tennessee Volunteers at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center at NC State on Friday.

The Aggies (4-0) booked their spot in the championship match after sophomore Alex Frusina rallied from dropping the first set to clinch the win over the Volunteers, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.

The Maroon & White rallied in doubles after dropping their court 1 match. No. 29 Frusina and junior Kholo Montsi secured the first doubles match after a 7-5 victory over Alejandro Moreno and Ethan Muza on court 2. Junior Tiago Pires and freshman Markus Molder rallied to force a tiebreaker, securing the Aggies' advantage into singles action with a 7-6(8) win over Jose Garcia and Boruch Skierkier.
