No. 10 Aggies Roll Past Crimson Tide, 4-1
TUSCALOOSA – The No. 10 Texas A&M men's tennis team rolled past the Crimson Tide Saturday afternoon at the Alabama Tennis Stadium, 4-1.

Senior Togan Tokac secured the match for Texas A&M after a three-set win over Yoshka Sborowsky. The Turkey native split the first two sets, before he was able to overpower in the third, 6-3, 5-7, 6-2. Â

The Aggies (17-7, 10-3 SEC) started the day with two-straight doubles victories to earn the early advantage heading into singles. Lathan Skrobarcek and Markus Molder defeated Jacob Olar and Brendan Loh on court 3, 6-3. Seconds later, Theo Papamalamis and Tokac upset the No. 7 duo of Vit Kalina and Andrii Zimnokh on court 1, 6-3, to secure the point.

Molder brought his momentum into singles, topping Rohan Hazratwala in dominating fashion on court 4 to grab the first singles point of the day, 6-0, 6-2. The Tide (10-14, 3-9 SEC) then went on to grab their one point of the day on court 6.

Junior Alex Frusina forced a third set in his match on court 3, where he would then go on to take down Zimnokh, 4-6, 6-1, 6-4. Tokac would go on to clinch shortly after.

The Maroon & White close out the regular season hosting Oklahoma for senior day Sunday, April 12 at 1 p.m.
