Aggies Claim No. 13 in the ITA Preseason Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Texas A&M men's tennis team opens the 2026 season ranked No. 13 in the nation, the ITA announced Wednesday.
The Aggies' roster includes seven returnees, two transfers and three freshmen. Sophomore Auburn transfer Alex Frusina is coming off a fall season in which he earned a spot in the NCAA Singles Championship after a quarterfinal playoff win at the ITA Central Sectionals.
The Maroon & White boast four players in the ITA Rankings from the conclusion of the fall, including No. 73 Frusina and No. 112 Oklahoma transfer Kholo Montsi in singles. Doubles pairings in the rankings include No. 29 Frusina and Montsi as well as the No. 81 duo of senior Togan Tokac and junior Tiago Pires.
The Aggies kick off their spring slate with a back-to-back weekend versus UTSA (Jan. 17) and UTA (Jan. 18).
