Postgame: Bucky McMillan

Our guys played hard...We turned them over 25 times. You can't do that without playing hard. There were some highlights in the game...But overall I don't think our guys played their A game individually when it came to skill...I thought Alabama State played really hard, like really, really hard in the game. Their strategy is pretty much, hey, we're going to beat you up. They're going to call a lot of fouls, and we're going to try to slow it down the half court to shorten the game, which is a good strategy. But it was a good look for us. We've got to get a lot better, but I still thought there were some positives in the game.

-- Bucky McMillan

Postgame: Jalen Shelley, PJ Haggerty

It's just a relentless pressure that we work on and play with every day in practice and it shows in the game. So we were attacking them from the jump, like from the tip. We were in their face, playing aggressive, playing defense...They're going to wear down at some point.

-- Jalen Shelley on forcing 25 turnovers
