Texas A&M is on the road again, this time to Columbia to take on the 23rd-ranked South Carollina Gamecocks. Saturday's contest will kickoff at 2 p.m. and will be aired live on ESPN.
A&M and South Carolina will meet for the 13th time in the series history. The Aggies lead the all-time series 10-2. This will be the second time the two teams have played in Columbia on Nov. 7.
Since 2022, the two programs have traded wins, with each team winning both games at home. Texas A&M's last win in Columbia, S.C. was Nov. 7, 2020 when the Aggies defeated the Gamecocks, 48-3.
Last season, the Aggies rallied from a 30-3 halftime deficit to defeat South Carolina 31-30. The 27-point comeback was the largest in school history, breaking the old record of 21 points in the Aggies’ 52-48 win over Duke in 2013 Chick-fil-A Bowl. Part of the comeback included a career day from Marcel Reed, who threw for a career-high 439 yards, highlighted by 316 passing yards in the second half.
