Offense Explodes, No. 23 Baseball Salvages Series Finale with No. 7 Georgia, 18-5

The Maroon & White (18-5, 2-4) scored in each offensive frame and 10 Aggies recorded a hit. As a unit, the Texas A&M totaled 18 runs on 16 hits and 11 walks. Four batters registered multi-hit performances and five logged multiple RBI.
Nico Partida powered the offense with a career day at the dish, notching four hits and six RBI. The Manvel, Texas, native led off the second inning with a double off the wall in right field and drove in a run in the third with a single up the middle. His first career grand slam in the fourth inning put the Aggies up, 10-1. The rookie charted his sixth RBI of the game in the fifth inning with a sharp single to left field.
Gavin Grahovac and Bear Harrison each tallied multiple hits and drove in two RBI. Harrison reached base four times in the win, including a single, a double and a pair of walks. Jake Duer plated three runs, with two coming on a double down the left field line in the fifth. Chris Hacopian, Caden Sorrell and Partida each touched home plate three times to add the Aggies' total. Boston Kellner reached base in each plate appearance, logging a single and a career-high four walks.
Aiden Sims (4-0) earned his first career conference win, dealing 5.2 innings while suffering three earned runs on just two hits and one walk. The righty punched out eight batters, with seven coming in the first four frames. Clayton Freshcorn tossed the last 1.1 innings, allowing two runs on two hits with one strikeout.

B4 | Sorrell reached on an infield single, followed by consecutive walks from Hacopian and Duer. Partida cleared the bases with an opposite-field grand slam. A&M 10, UGA 1.
B5 | Kellner led off with a single to left field. Grahovac singled through the left side and Sorrell walked to load the bases. Kellner scored on an errant throw by the first baseman on a ground ball off the bat of Hacopian. Duer shot a double down the left field line to plate two runs. Binderup brought a run home on a sacrifice fly to center field. With a runner on third, Partida drove in his sixth RBI of the contest on a single to left field. Terrence Kiel II reached on a fielder's choice that put out Partida. Harrison and Kellner walked to load the bases once again. All runners advanced on a wild pitch, with Kiel scoring a run. Grahovac singled in the infield to plate the seventh run of the frame. A&M 17, UGA 1.
T6 | Jack Arcamone walked and Rylan Lujo was hit by a pitch. Ty Peeples drove a double to right-center field to plate a pair of runs. A&M 17, UGA 3.
B6 | Wilson drove the first pitch of the frame to right field for a double. Farr reach on an infield single, but Wilson stayed put at second. LaBuda reached on an uncanny 5-4-5 fielder's choice that put Wilson out at third. Harrison walked, and Kellner walked with the bases load to bring a run home. A&M 18, UGA 3.
T7| Arcamone doubled to the right-center gap and Lujo homered to left-center. A&M 18, UGA 5.
GAME NOTES
- Sunday's contest marked the 29th meeting all-time between the clubs. With the win, the Aggies extend their lead in the series to 17-12.
- Blue Bell Park held 6,087 fans Sunday afternoon. Over the weekend, the park held 20,882 fans, marking the sixth-largest crowd for a three-game series all-time and the fifth-most since the renovations in 2012.
- The 18 runs scored are the most in a conference game by the Maroon & White since April 27, 2024 (19 vs. Georgia)
- Partida logged a career-best four hits and six RBI.
- Kellner walked four times, becoming the first Aggie to accomplish the feat since Jace LaViolette on May 18, 2023.
- The freshman has reached base safely in all 23 games this season.
- Kiel's on-base streak ended at 22 games.
