Softball Hosts Louisiana Tech for Military Appreciation Night

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 15 Texas A&M softball team hosts Louisiana Tech on Military Appreciation Night Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Davis Diamond.
Texas A&M (15-7) wraps up its six-game homestand against Louisiana Tech (13-6). Fans can take advantage of a buy one, get one free ticket offer by purchasing one full price adult general admission/standing room only ticket and get an additional adult general admission/standing room only ticket for free. This offer will not be available to walk-up sales, all tickets must be purchased in advance here. Free hot dogs for the first 150 students who check into 12th Man Rewards. Kate Munnerlyn tossed the program's first perfect game in 21 years in an 8-0 run-rule victory over Kennesaw State. The sophomore faced the minimum 15 batters and struck out three. She threw 51 pitches, including 38 strikes, and opened 12 plate appearances with first-pitch strikes. Munnerlyn registered a season-best 74.5 strike percentage. It marked the program's first perfect game in the Trisha Ford era and the eighth no-hitter under Ford.
