No. 4 Women’s Golf Takes on SEC Championship

BELLEAIR, Fla. – The No. 4 Texas A&M women's golf team is set to take part in the 2026 SEC Women's Golf Championship April 17-21 at the Pelican Golf Club.
The Aggies are slated to tee off at 7 a.m. Friday from No. 1 to begin the stroke-play portion of the tournament. If the Maroon & White finishes inside the top eight after 54 holes, they will advance to match play with the first quarterfinal match scheduled for Monday morning.
Texas A&M is led by fifth-year head coach Gerrod Chadwell who is seeking his second SEC title, after winning the championship in 2023. Chadwell is bringing a lineup featuring Vanessa Borovilos, Cayetana Fernández García-Poggio, Sky Sudberry, Brynn Kort and Natalie Yen. Louise Reau will serve as the alternate for the team.
The Maroon & White has won a program-record tying five team titles this season, including a home victory at Traditions Club in the 22nd "Mo" Morial Invitational to end the regular season.
The field is highlighted by five top 10 teams, including the Aggies. Additionally, 10 of the top 25 squads are competing. Live stats for the event can be followed at scoreboard.clippd.com.
