AT DALLAS JESUIT PREP: Three-year letter winner for Coach Brian Jones at Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas (Dallas Jesuit)... named a Texas Sports Writers Association First Team Class 6A All-State pitcher as a junior in 2016... selected a MaxPreps Junior All-American in 2016... named UIL Class 6A State Tournament MVP as Dallas Jesuit won the state title in 2016... also named All-District 9-6A First Team and Academic All-State as a junior... posted an 11-1 wins with a 0.83 ERA as a junior... ranked fifth in the state with 117 strikeouts and pitched two no-hitters in 2016... pitched in 14 games as a sophomore in 2015, including four starts, posting a 5-0 record with 42 strikeouts in 33.1 innings... appeared in five games as a pinch-runner during an injury-shortened senior season, going 1-for-1 at the plate in his lone at-bat... captain of football and baseball squads as a senior... two-time District 9-6A MVP in football... punted 22 times for a 42.4 average as a senior in 2016... completed 59.8 percent of passes for 1,843 yards and 12 touchdowns and rushed for 304 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior... completed 60.4 passes for 1,903 yards and 24 touchdowns and rushed for 495 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior in 2015... PERSONAL: Jacob Palisch was born August 19, 1998 in Richardson, Texas, to Sandy and Terry Palisch... has two older brothers, Zack and Austin... very involved in his community and is big on volunteering... enjoys playing the piano and aspires to be a software developer and pursuing his Master’s in Science in Management Information Systems.
