Ranks second on all-time collegiate list with Aggie school record of 288-9 (88.01).
2018 (SENIOR): Named to Bowerman watch list.
2017 (JUNIOR): Named a semifinalist for the Bowerman Award with along with two Aggie teammates, Fred Kerley and Lindon Victor, who reached the final … Finished sixth in the final of the IAAF World Championships held in London with a mark of 277-3 (84.52) after producing a 277-7 (84.60) in the qualifying round … International competition during the summer also included a silver medal at the European Under-23 Championships in Poland and a silver medal at the European Team Championships held in France … A throw of 283-3 (86.33) at the European Team Championships preceded a 265-10 (81.04) during the European U-23 meet … Claimed NCAA Championship with a winning mark of 270-11 (82.58) to break the meet record of 268-7 (81.86) set in 1998 in topping the field by 19 feet … Arizona’s Esko Mikkola held the previous meet record … Prior to using all six throws in the NCAA Championships, Kyriazis only used one throw in each of his previous three meets during the collegiate season … A lone throw of 262-11 (80.15) claimed a third consecutive conference title and broke the SEC Championship meet record of 261-4 (79.65) set in 2009 by Georgia’s Chris Hill … Kyriazis is only the third conference thrower to achieve the feat of three consecutive javelin titles, joining Florida’s Derek Trafus (1993 to 1995) and Tennessee’s Bill Skinner (1968 to 1970) … Opened his outdoor campaign with a career best heave of 288-9 (88.01), which ranks second on the all-time collegiate list, to defend his Texas Relays title and set multiple records … The mark was just three-plus feet shy of the collegiate record 292-4 (89.10) set by Patrick Boden of Texas in 1990 during a March quadrangular meet … It bettered the Texas Relays record of 274-2 (83.56) established by Boden in 1990 as well as the facility record of 283-5 set by Germany’s Boris Henry in 2001 … Kyriazis also improved his Texas A&M school record of 285-10 (87.14) as he bettered the Texas Relays field by nearly 50 feet and added 20 feet to his 2016 winning toss of 268-7.
2016 (SOPHOMORE): During the summer, established Texas A&M school record of 285-10 (87.14) to win Greece Under 23 title in Larisa, Greece … Kyriazis, who improved his previous best by 17 feet, bettered the school record of 272-9 (83.14) set by Sam Humphreys in 2013 … The effort by Kyriazis also moved him to third on the all-time extended season collegiate list … Went undefeated through the collegiate season before placing second in the NCAA Championships … On his final attempt he threw 253-5 (77.25) in Eugene, Oregon, moving from fourth to second place in national championship meet behind Mississippi State’s Curtis Thompson (254-9 | 77.64) … Defended his SEC javelin title with one throw that measured 256-8 (78.24), bettering the field by seven-plus feet … Won Texas Relays title with an opening round toss of 268-7 (81.87), bettering the field by 33 feet … Opened season with a 255-8 (73.13) victory at Arizona State’s Baldy Castillo Invitational.
2015 (FRESHMAN): Won the SEC javelin title with a career best throw of 257-3 (78.41) on his final round throw, which moved him from fourth to first place ... It was the best winning mark in the SEC since 2009 when Georgia's Chris Hill set the meet record of 261-4 ... On the Aggie all-time list, Kyriazis is currently the No. 2 performer with the No. 8 performance ... Placed fifth in the NCAA Championships with a mark of 239-11 (73.13) ... Won Greece Juinor title (219-7 | 66.93) and finished fourth at the European Junior Championships (252-9 | 77.05) ... Also placed second at the Greece National Championships (253-5 | 77.26) ... In his collegiate debut, Kyriazis set a then PR of 245-10 (74.94) to win the Arizona State Baldy Castillo Invitaional ... Placed fourth at Texas Relays (226-8 | 69.10) and was the top collegian, second overall, at Stanford Invitational with a then PR of 247-7 (75.47) ... Improved his career best to 248-6 (75.76) to win the Michael Johnson Classic and threw 236-1 (71.95) for first place at TCU Horned Frog Invitational ...
