SOPHOMORE (2019) – Indoors: Competed twice, racing at 1,000m (3:17.29) to place ninth in Reveille Invitational and in 800m (2:30.99) to finish 16th at Ted Nelson Invitational.
FRESHMAN (2018): Raced three times in 800m during the outdoor season … Best effort was fourth in 2:15.27 at Houston Alumni Invitational … Indoors, posted a time of 3:06.78 in her first race as an Aggie, placing eighth in 1,000m at Reveille Invitational in December of 2017 … Ran 58.53 in 400m at Ted Nelson Invitational … Placed third in 800m with a best of 2:13.70 in the Aggie Twilight after placing ninth (2:17.17) at Charlie Thomas Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2017 graduate of Smithson Valley High School in Spring Branch, Texas … Competed in 200, 400, 800 and three relay events … Established personal bests of 57.19 (400m) and 2:18.76 (800m) … Cross country team placed 10th in 2016 State meet with McDole the fourth runner on squad … Competed in Nike Cross National South Regional, placing 90th … In 2015, placed sixth in district cross country meet … During senior track season in 2017 placed fifth in Region IV-6A meet in 400m after finishing third in district and area meets … In 2016, finished sixth in 400m at district meet … Racing at 800m, won AAU South Texas District and placed third in AAU Region 19 … Also competed in basketball.
PERSONAL: Jianni Lee McDole is the daughter of Johnny McDole, Roderick and Patricia Boykin, born July 6, 1999 in Dayton, Ohio … Hometown is San Antonio, Texas … Has six siblings, Tonya McDole, Starr McDole, Zhanna McDole, J’La McDole, Roderick Boykin, Jr., and Gentry Boykin … Mother competed in track and field at the University of Tennessee … Father played football at the University of Illinois … Chose Texas A&M for its rich academic history, wonderful track program and amazing school traditions … Started competing in track and field at age 11 … Majoring in Telecommunications.
